Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 9, 2026

Happy Color Day ("we", "us", or "our") operates happycolorday.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, with particular attention to the fact that this Site is directed, in part, at children.

A note for parents and guardians

Happy Color Day is designed to be used by children with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. Any contact with us, including through our contact form, should be made by a parent, guardian, or other adult. If we later add account features, parents or guardians will be the intended account holders, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Information we collect

At this stage, the Site does not require account creation and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only personal information we collect is what an adult voluntarily submits through our contact form: specifically, a name, email address, and message content.

How we use information

Information submitted through our contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell or rent this information to third parties.

Cookies and analytics

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies set by our advertising provider, Google, for purposes such as measuring ad performance, limiting how many times an ad is shown, and detecting invalid traffic. Because this Site is directed to children, these cookies are not used to build interest-based advertising profiles of visitors and are not used to serve personalized or behavioral ads. If we introduce additional privacy-respecting analytics in the future (for example, to understand which coloring pages are popular), we will update this policy and, where required, provide a way to opt out.

Advertising

The Site displays advertising served through Google AdSense / Google Ad Manager. Because Happy Color Day is a child-directed site, all ad requests are tagged for child-directed treatment under Google's advertising policies. In practice, this means:

  • We do not enable personalized (interest-based or remarketing) advertising anywhere on the Site.
  • We do not request or rely on consent for personalized ads, since Google does not serve personalized ads on child-directed inventory.
  • Ads shown are contextual, based on the content of the page being viewed, not on a visitor's browsing history or profile.
  • We do not knowingly allow ad partners to collect personal information from children for advertising purposes.

Google may still use certain non-personalized information (such as approximate location derived from IP address, or the content of the page) to serve contextually relevant ads and to prevent fraud and abuse. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at Google's Privacy & Terms site.

Third-party services

We work with a small number of third-party services to operate the Site:

  • Contact form: a form service that receives only the information you choose to submit, used solely to deliver your message to us.
  • Advertising: Google AdSense / Google Ad Manager, configured for child-directed, non-personalized ads as described above.

These providers may process limited technical data (such as IP address or browser information) as needed to deliver their service, subject to their own privacy policies.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

We are committed to complying with COPPA. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without such consent, we will take steps to delete that information. Parents or guardians who believe their child may have provided personal information to us can contact us using the details on our Contact page to request review or deletion.

This includes advertising: in line with COPPA and Google's policies for child-directed sites, we do not permit interest-based or personalized advertising, and we do not knowingly allow advertising partners to collect personal information from children on this Site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Site grows. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
